Dennis Macklin has been involved in sports wagering all of his adult life. From 1978 through 1990, he was involved in various aspects of Greyhound and Harness Racing (including ownership and training ) where his encyclopedic knowledge of breeding and history was highly regarded. His written work has been published in industry standards such as Hoof Beats and Greyhound Review.
Moving to Las Vegas in 1991, Macklin became a true Vegas "insider" working behind the scenes for several major services before going on his own in 2002.
Dennis has numerous radio and television credits on his resume, including a regular 20-minute football segment "Beat the Spread", on the One on One radio network. In addition, he was a weekly panelist on USA Network's "Sports Desk" in 2001 and 2002.
Dennis was fortunate enough to work with Phil Steele in Cleveland between 2001-2004 and then spent several years in Costa Rica in gaming, contract writing, and advertising for a marketing concern. After returning to the US, DMack re-dedicated himself to handicapping and started to become serious about poker.
In the last decade, Dennis has added tournament poker dealer to his resume and ventured to the other side of the window as a Trader for a major Las Vegas strip property.
